Blake Shelton gets his best sales week EVER
Congratulations to country’s superstar Blake Shelton! His latest album “Based On A True Story” on Warner Music Nashville is his best-selling first-week album EVER. Blake’s record moved over 199, 086 units in its first week according to Neilson Soundscan. Those numbers earned him the number three spot on the Top-200 this week, as well as the top spot on the Country Albums chart. Blake’s latest album features his groovy lead single “Sure Be Cool If You Did.”
Make sure you catch Blake opening up the Academy of Country Music Awards this weekend. As we reported earlier this week, he’ll open the show with a performance of “Boys ‘Round Here” with Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley, Pistol Annies and Sheryl Crow. Don’t forget: he’s co-hosting again this year, but alongside Luke Bryan. Will you be tuning in?
