Dwight Yoakam sells out second Ryman show
Wow! After having to add a second headlining Ryman date due to his first selling out almost immediately, Dwight Yoakam has done it again. His second concert at the historic Ryman Auditorium on April 13th sold out on Friday morning in under 45 minutes. The country music icon is proving that legends still have what it takes to sell out in this pop-country chart world.
It’s his first time back at the Ryman since 2005. On playing again at the Ryman, Dwight shared:
“The Ryman is one of a handful of places in the world, that from the moment you step inside, you can feel that you have entered a hallowed chamber occupied by the essence of the great.”
Were you one of the lucky few who scored a ticket to one of his two dates? If not, don’t worry – he’ll be playing at Bonnaroo this year. The 2013 Bonnaroo line-up was announced yesterday via social media. Check out the full Bonnaroo line-up on their official site here.
