Teen music star Payton Rae can be seen in this week’s episode of “Teen Kid News,” the leading television news program for teens and kids nationwide. Payton will be part of the feature that the award-winning news show filmed on “Camplified,” a concert experience, done at over 50 summer camps, that showcases emerging teen stars, performers and youth targeted brands. Payton performed multiple dates on the “Camplified” tour this summer.
The 30-min program airs on more than 200 stations in the US, and is seen by 4.5 to 5.1 million viewers per week. A list of stations and air times for “Teen Kids News” can be found here. In addition to being aired on television, the show is broadcast, without commercials, weekly to over six million teens in over 8,000 middle schools and high schools across the country. “Teen Kids News” is also seen in over 170 countries through the American Forces Network.
Payton’s appearance on “Teen Kids News” comes in the middle of a media-packed month for the seventeen year-old artist. Iconic teen magazine Seventeen featured Payton in their celebrity section, saying that “She’s a cross between Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, and you won’t be able to get her songs out of your head.”
Payton is also making a splash in advertising this month, as she can be seen in ads for world renowned formal wear designer/manufacturer ALYCE Paris in such magazines as Teen Prom, Seventeen Prom and Seventeen; her image is also used in ALYCE Paris posters that are on display at dress stores across the country. The teen star is currently the spokeswoman for the ALYCE Paris’ 2013 spring collection; she’ll soon be shooting new images with the company in order to showcase their 2013 fall line, as well.
The busy teen – in addition to tackling Algebra II this semester! – is also preparing to go back in the studio in Nashville, Tennessee to record her next project.
