Kenny Chesney Sells Out Minneapolis in 30 Minutes
Looks like the King of Country Touring is still just as hot as ever. Kenny Chesney, who is heading out on his “No Shoes Nation” tour next year, sold out his latest tour date in Minneapolis in 30 minutes! About his now sold-out July 12th, 2013 date at Target Field, Kenny said:
“The fans in Minnesota bring a lot of passion and energy to our summer. They truly represent what No Shoes Nation is all about.”
Last month Kenny was honored with the Billboard ‘Top Package’ Award for the year’s top-grossing tour with three or more artists on the bill (sales of his ‘Brothers of the Sun’ Tour hit $100 million) and the “Road Warrior” Award, celebrating uncommon work ethic, professionalism and artistic integrity on the road. It is his seventh “Top Package” and ninth Billboard Touring award overall.
With this week’s announcement of an additional show in Foxboro, Chesney will play 18 stadium shows next year bringing his career total to 101 stadiums. The ‘No Shoes Nation’ Tour, kicks off Saturday, March 16 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
The Corona Light Presents Kenny Chesney’s ‘No Shoes Nation’ Tour, starring Kenny Chesney, will feature special guest Eric Church – whose critically-acclaimed album ‘Chief’ was named ‘Album of the Year’ at the 2012 CMA Awards – as well as Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves. Several tour dates, including the July 12th Minneapolis show, will also feature the GRAMMY-Award winning Zac Brown Band, whose latest album ‘Uncaged’ debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200.
Did you manage to get tickets to his date before it was too late?
