Trace Adkins to Perform in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

It’s almost that time of year! Trace Adkins will be one of many performers appearing in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The 86th annual Parade will kick-off the holiday season on November 22nd at 9AM throughout the streets of Manhattan.

Trace will be joined by other performers from music, film, sports, theatre and television, including: Flo Rida, Carly Rae Jepsen, Cody Simpson, The Wanted and more. The country superstar is expected to perform his hit “Just Fishin’.”

Stirrin’ Up Sweet Sensations, the new Domino Sugar float, features a magical take on holiday baking. The centerpiece of this 26-foot tall float is the giant cookie dough bowl and cookie press that dishes out confections.  Three stories above the ground a giant spoon stirs the cookie dough in an equally colossal bowl. As it travels into the cookie press, the dough drops onto the turntable and finally into the oven. The treats will be shot down a ramp to the awaiting cars of the Cookie Express train which will deliver the cookies to the children in the streets. Trace is set to add his down home flavor to the mix.

The Parade will air nationwide on NBC from 9AM-noon.
