Opry Goes Pink Announces Additional Performers
On Tuesday, October 30th, the Fourth Annual Opry Goes Pink event will take place. Kellie Pickler (a country artist who has already made a huge impact this year, shaving her head in honor of her friend who was going through chemotherapy to fight her battle with Breast Cancer) will flip the switch on the Opry’s barn backdrop, turning it pink for the night. The show will also include performances by The Farm, Mindy Smith, The Isaacs, Kristen Kelly, Jimmy Dickens, Sarah Darling and others. There will also be activities recognizing breast cancer survivors and the continuing fight against the disease. Five dollars from every ticket sold will be donated to Women Rock For The Cure. You can click here to buy your tickets to this event.
To honor individual Breast Cancer Survivors and those we have lost to this disease, you can e-mail Women Rock For The Cure with the subject line “In Honor” or “In Memory” and the organization will include your loved ones’ names on the Opry Goes Pink Stage Screens on October 30th. The e-mail address is: email@example.com.
Keepin’ It Country would like to take a moment to pay respect to all of the Breast Cancer Survivors and those who have fallen victim to the disease. We encourage those of you who go out to this amazing event to contact us on our Facebook or Twitter and share with us your stories and photographs.
