DVR Alert: Eric Paslay Appears on Nashville Debut

The premiere of ABC’s new country-themed drama “Nashville” is turning into a must-watch. Singer-songwriter Eric Paslay will appear on the season premiere tomorrow night at 10 pm EST. He’ll be playing himself backstage at the Grand Ole Opry in the opening scene of the show. “Nashville” will also feature Eli Young Band‘s “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” a song co-written by Eric with Will Hoge.

Eric, who is currently in the studio working on his debut record with EMI, is nominated for Song Of The Year at the 46th annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards with the number one hit he wrote “Even If It Breaks Your Heart.” It’s his first-ever nomination. It’s one of three number one hits penned by the singer this year, whose other number ones include Love & Theft‘s “Angel Eyes,” and Jake Owen‘s “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.”

Will you be tuning in tomorrow night? What do you think about a major television network trying their hand at the country scene?
