Lee Brice Reacts to CMA Nomination
It’s been a pretty big year for Lee Brice. The Curb Records artist found out this morning that he’s been nominated for the Country Music Association’s New Artist of the Year award. The news came as he was celebrating his third major hit “Hard To Love” which is already number fourteen on the singles charts and rising steadily. It’s the title track from his current album, and the follow-up to his number one single “A Woman Like You,”
which was certified platinum earlier this year by the RIAA for selling more than one million copies digitally.
On his CMA Awards nomination, Lee says:
“I can’t even begin to express how good it feels to receive this nomination today. It’s an honor, especially in the company of these other hard-working artists. I just feel so blessed.”
He found out about his nomination immediately following a CMA awards press conference he was hosting in Nashville at the CMA headquarters on Music Row. He was announcing the Broadcast Personality of the Year award nominees and Radio Station of the Year Award nominees.
The 46th annual Country Music Association Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 1st on ABC. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley are returning once again to co-host this year’s award show. Were you surprised by any nominations this year?
