Lee Brice Writes Clemson Football Anthem

Country music singer-songwriter Lee Brice is one of the biggest football fans out there. When he was asked to write and record a new game-day anthem for the Clemson Tigers he jumped at the chance. He was handpicked by the organization and his new song “Orange Empire” will play as the team takes the field at their home games. The sports single is now available for fans on iTunes.

On writing the song and cheering for Clemson, Lee says:

“I remember the ride over to the stadium on the team bus. When we’d get to the top of that hill…there really is no describing the intensity and excitement. The fans were ready and insanely loud! When I sat down to write this song, I wanted to portray that feeling. Hopefully it’ll get ‘em going!”

The South Carolina native wrote the song with Brian Davis and Billy Montana. In addition to the team anthem, Lee will host a concert for fans during college football’s biggest weekend on November 23rd at Littlejohn Coliseum. It’s the night before Clemson goes head-to-head against their rivals the USC Gamecocks.
