Hunter Hayes Reacts to CMA Awards Nomination

Warner Music Nashville’s Hunter Hayes has had one heck of a year. The young singer-songwriter found out this morning that he was nominated for his first-ever Country Music Association award for New Artist of the Year. The “Storm Warning” singer was pleasantly surprised over the nomination.

Hunter shares:

“What an honor it is to be recognized by the country music family that I’ve always wanted to be a part of. I am absolutely over the top excited to be nominated for CMA’s New Artist of the Year! My first CMA nomination. So grateful. So excited. Thank you!!”

Hunter has one nomination going into the CMA Awards this November. His latest single “Wanted” is out on country radio right now.
