Little Big Town Taking Over CMT

Capitol Nashville’s rising star in Little Big Town will be taking over CMT tonight with the debut of “CMT Unplugged: Little Big Town” on today, the same day that their highly anticipated brand new studio album “Tornado” hits stores. The special features all four members: Kimberly Schlapman, Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook performing their hit single “Pontoon,” “Boondocks,”  and their favorites from their new album. They also surprised fans with a cover of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.”

They’ll also be serving as CMT VJ’s for the week as they takeover the channel for a half hour. They’ll pick their favorite country music videos and play them starting at 10 am EST on Wednesday, September 12th. It will re-air again on September 13th at 9 am EST, and September 14th at 10 am EST.

Check out their Unplugged series here on CMTs site and don’t forget to pick up your copy of “Tornado” today! Unfortunately, the Unplugged series is not available to Canadian viewers.
