Miranda Lambert Drama Picked up by NBC
Miranda Lambert‘s drama based on her life has found a new home at NBC! Sources confirmed with Keepin’ it Country that after ABC Family passed on the drama being produced by Miranda, her mom Beverly Lambert, and her manager Marion Kraft that NBC snagged the still-untitled show. NBC is home to The Voice, which Miranda’s superstar husband, Blake Shelton, currently serves as a coach for the upcoming third season.
The drama follows the story of a family private investigation business and the adventures that the two children have. Miranda’s parents worked as private investigators in Texas while she was growing up. Chad Hodge, who served as executive producer on “The Playboy Club,” will serve as executive producer on the series alongside Miranda. There’s no air date yet for the first episode, but we will let you know as soon as we do.
What do you think? Do you think the show has a chance at being a hit? Will you be watching?
