Blake Shelton Goes Number One

Blake Shelton had been teasing fans all weekend over some pretty exciting news he had just received. While fans were guessing everything under the moon, he finally clarified with a Tweet – his new single “Over” is now a number one country single!

The coach from NBC’s super popular The Voice has now had every single from his record “Red River Blue” go number one on the charts. Other number one singles from the record include “Honey Bee,” “God Gave Me You,” and “Drink On It.” His album,”Red River Blue,” was recently certified gold by the RIAA for selling more than 500, 000 copies digitally since its release.

Blake recorded two more albums – one Christmas album and a brand new studio album due out 2013. His first-ever Christmas album will come out just in time for Halloween in October, and includes a duet with his third season Team Blake adviser, and Canadian, Michael Buble.
