Billy Currington Announced As Road to Ram Jam Artist

Platinum-selling country artist Billy Currington is the latest artist added to the Road To Ram Jam Concert series. He’s joining the previously announced Kellie Pickler, Easton Corbin, Brantley Gilbert, and Zac Brown Band as artists featured in the series. The Road To Ram Jam, presented by Ram Trucks, features five of today’s hottest country artists and provides fans the opportunity to win cool and exclusive prizes, like a trip for two to the invitation-only 2012 Ram Jam Concert Event December 29th in Nashville, Tennessee where all five will perform.

The series aims to bring country music fans closer than ever to their favorite artists through contests, video content, and opportunity to win collectibles like vinyl records, posters, and other merchandise through radio stations throughout the United States, and free music downloads. Fans can enter the sweepstakes to win a trip for 2 to the invitation-only concert event at or on the Ram Trucks Facebook page.

“It’s an honor to be included along with such great artists as Brantley, Kellie, Easton and Zac Brown Band. I look forward to performing with them this December in Nashville,” said Billy Currington. “Also, thank you Ram for giving me another opportunity to work with Team Rubicon. They will be the real winners in this sweepstakes.”

Billy is offering his fans a free download of his single “Swimmin’ in Sunshine” when they enter the sweepstakes above. All five artists have received a one-year lease on a 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Truck. The trucks will be auctioned off in early 2013  with proceeds going towards a charity of each artists’ choice. Proceeds from Billy’s truck will benefit Team Rubicon. Team Rubicon unites the skills  and experiences of military veterans with medical professionals to rapidly deploy emergency response teams into crisis situations.
