AUDIO: Miranda Lambert Backstage At CMA Fest

Country music’s firecracker Miranda Lambert made a quick stop backstage at the 2012 CMA Music Festival to answer a few questions before hitting the stage later that night. Miranda, who was feeling pretty sick all day, still found time to meet with the press backstage. Listen to the clips of her interview below:

Miranda, as you might notice from her voice in our clips, was forced to have the Pistol Annies and Raelynn fill in last minute for her at her fanclub party during CMA Fest, apologizes to the media and her fans for being sick. She has a pretty good idea why she was feeling under the weather, and where she got it from:

Fans at the CMT Awards probably noticed an incident during the Pistol Annies performance of “Takin’ Pills” – when Angaleena Presley, aka Holler Annie, took a fall near the end of the song. The fall didn’t make it to TV thanks to some quick camera angle work, but see what Miranda had to say about Angaleena being thrown into the spotlight:

Speaking of the Annies, she answered our question on when we can see an Annies tour, and on the status of their second album:

Miranda shared who she loves to follow on Twitter, and why she finds her husband Blake Shelton to be too much sometimes and why she unfollows him.

Miranda believes that “Over You” is the most personal song that she’s ever been a part of. She doesn’t believe that there will ever be another song like “Over You” for her, or for her husband. Listen to why:

Miranda is just as excited about her new rocking single, “Fastest Girl In Town,” even if it shows off a side of Miranda that fans may not have seen in a while. She explains why it’s one of her favorite track off of “Four The Record”:

Even if Miranda is releasing the single that reminds her of her “Kerosene” days, it doesn’t mean she wishes she had everything back from when she first hit the music scene. She explains why she’s changed her look since then:

Miranda is one of many artists that know that it’s thanks to her fans that she gets to do what she loves for a living. She shares the importance of giving back to country fans one week every year at CMA Music Festival:

The Voice may already be busy working on the third season of the hit reality singing competition, but that doesn’t mean that Miranda can’t celebrate her husband’s Team Blake win still:

One thing that most fans have been wondering – has Eric Church called Miranda to apologize or explain his statements made to Rolling Stone earlier this year?
