Curb Nashville artist LeAnn Rimes was forced to cancel shows in Ohio and Indiana last week due to an emergency surgery she underwent yesterday. She’s now at home after an extensive root canal procedure for pain relief that had started earlier this month. She will need a second surgery on Monday, but it’s expected to only be a minor surgery. Yesterday’s root canal was the second surgery LeAnn has had this year; she had a procedure done for pain relief back in February.
While she isn’t performing while she’s recovering she is still hard at work. LeAnn is working on the cover art for her brand new upcoming album “Spitfire,” which is her last contractually obligated album on Curb Records. She was signed to Curb when she was 11 years old. There’s no release date yet for her album which is expected out later this year.
