Jason Aldean’s New Single Steals Top iTunes Spot
Multi-platinum country music singer Jason Aldean‘s brand new single “Take A Little Ride” is sitting pretty on top of the all-genre iTunes singles charts this week. It’s the debut single from his upcoming fifth studio album on Broken Bow Records, due out later this year. It’s the first time any of Jason’s singles have taken the top spot on release, and its something he’s pretty excited about:
“We’ve never come out of the box and gone to No. one so quickly,” said Aldean. “I added the song into my set this weekend on the road for the first time, and everything is feeling really great out there. I couldn’t have asked for a better kick off for this new album…my fans are unbelievable.”
Jason’s 2012 “My Kinda Party Tour” is hitting the biggest amphitheaters in the United States throughout the summer. He’s sold out every single date so far this year, and breaking attendance records at most of his shows, including his first stadium show in Columbus, Ohio. This weekend, Jason sold over 44,000 tickets in just four minutes for his tour stop in Indianapolis, IN in September – which sold 24,000 of those tickets in four minutes, and his St. Louis September show which sold over 20,000 tickets in four minutes.
Are you excited for Jason’s new album?
