Billy Currington’s Good Directions Certified Platinum
Congratulations to Billy Currington and the team at Mercury Records Nashville! His “Good Directions” single has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling more than one million copies digitally. The song was a co-write by Luke Bryan and Rachel Thibodeau and appears on Billy’s platinum selling album “Doin’ Something Right,” and is the third platinum selling single of his career so far.
“This is my third platinum song and it never gets old. I’m so happy to receive this honor. I’d like to say thank you to Luke Bryan and Rachel Thibodeu for writing such an incredible song. People always tell me it’s one of their favorites and this certification just proves that even more. Thank you!”
Billy’s other platinum singles include “People Are Crazy” from his album “Little Bit Of Everything,” and “Must Be Doing Something Right” from his album “Enjoy Yourself.” Both of those albums were certified gold by the RIAA for selling more than 500,000 copies. He’s currently in studio working on his next album for Mercury Records.
