Jason Aldean Sells Out First Ever Stadium Show

With over 27,000 tickets sold for his August 5th stop at Columbus, Ohio’s Crew Stadium, Jason Aldean has officially made a name for himself as a stadium headliner.

The 2012 My Kinda Party Tour, which will roll through several cities, will be the largest concert in the history of the Stadium. The concert is also the first show at the Stadium that has sold out more than two months in advance.

Aldean stated:

“We are just starting to test the waters with stadiums, and this soccer stadium in Columbus is our first run at it … I am hopeful and excited that we’ll be able to do some more of these later in the year or in 2013.  Columbus, OH…hope you’re ready to throw down with us on Aug. 5!”

Alongside this great news, there is no doubt that Jason is looking forward to tonight’s CMT Music Awards. His video for “Dirt Road Anthem” is nominated in two categories:  Video of the Year and Male Video of the Year. Jason is also among the list of presenters at the show.
