Eric Church Scores His Second #1 Single from “Chief”

After experiencing unparalleled success with his “The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour,” which has sold over 450,000 tickets thus far in 2012, Eric Church now has more to celebrate. His newest single, “Springsteen,” from his album, “Chief,” topping the charts at Number 1. Church’s prior single, “Drink In My Hand,” marked his first career Number 1 record; both songs were co-writes for Church.  In addition, “Springsteen” also officially received RIAA Platinum certification at the same time as his debut album, “Sinners Like Me,” reached Gold status.

Church wrote the song with bandmate Jeff Hyde, who also co-wrote his hit “Smoke A Little Smoke,” and Nashville songwriter Ryan Tyndell.  The record was produced by Jay Joyce and earned both 2012 ACM and Grammy nominations.

Church announced his fall leg of “The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour” last week with special guests Justin Moore and Kip Moore. Stay tuned to for all details.
