Dierks Bentley stopped by the CMT studios this week for a special taping of “Unplugged”. His episode will debut on CMT.com Tuesday at 2 pm EST. During the taping, Dierks performed some of his biggest hits, and his new songs from his album “Home,” including “5-1-5-0″ and “Am I The Only One.” To make things even more interesting, he challenged himself with a Bluegrass spin on Adele’s pop hit “Set Fire To The Rain.” All songs were performed acoustically for the internet special, which is something that Dierks loves:
“I love breaking my songs back down to their original acoustic foundation. When I write these songs by myself or with friends, we just use acoustic guitars … so, it’s fun to sometimes go back to just the simple groove and idea you had to begin with.”
