Carrie Underwood’s Album Blown Away Holds No. 1 Spot For Fourth Consecutive Week

Country music superstar Carrie Underwood‘s fourth album, Blown Away, is No. 1 for the fourth consecutive week on Billboard’s Top Country Album Chart.  Blown Away is the first album since 2010 to debut at No. 1 and stay there for four consecutive weeks on the chart.

After its May 1 release, Blown Away made history by debuting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country albums sales chart. This made Underwood only the second country artist in the 47 year history of the chart to have each of their first four albums debut at No. 1.

Underwood will perform at the 2012 CMT Music Awards live from Nashville on Wednesday, June 6.  Fans will be able to watch the show live on TV on CMT and cmt.com at 8 PM EST.  Underwood is the most nominated artist at this year’s award show with five nominations.  Fans can still cast their votes now through June 4 at www.cmt.com.
