Miranda Lambert’s Over You Goes Gold

Congratulations to Miranda Lambert and the team at RCA Nashville! Her latest heartbreaking single, “Over You,” has just been certified gold by the RIAA for selling over 500,000 copies. The song is a co-write by Miranda with her husband, Blake Shelton, on the loss of Blake’s brother when Blake was younger. It’s the latest single off of Miranda’s current “Four The Record” album.

In an interview with US  Magazine, Miranda admitted that while it’s a deeply personal song for her and their family, it’s one of her favorites:

“I asked him a year ago, ‘Do you want this song? It’s obviously about your life.’ And he said he’d rather me have it, mainly because he wasn’t sure he could get through it every night onstage. It’s one of our favorite songs.”

Check out the official music video for the single below and let us know if “Over You” is a personal song to you, too.
