The Band Perry Fights Hunger
Country music trio The Band Perry are teaming up with Walmart for a very special cause. They’re partnering up for a national hunger relief campaign in Nashville alongside actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley for “The Fighting Hunger Together” Spring initiative. The campaign will offer fans the chance to help fight hunger by visiting Walmart’s Facebook page through to April 30th, 2012.
Walmart customers are encouraged to purchase products from General Mills, Conagra, Kraft, and Kellogg to help generate more than 42 million meals for Feeding America and Action For Healthy Kids. Walmart is also asking fans to vote on their Facebook page for one of 200 communities hit hardest by unemployment in the United States. The winning community of the vote will receive $1 million to help fight hunger.
