Lady Antebellum Share Rebuilding Details
GRAMMY winning superstar country music trio Lady Antebellum announced the winners of their prom contest last week, and now they’ve shared plans on how they will help their chosen community rebuild after the devastating tornadoes. Henryville High School was the lucky winner of a private Lady A concert from the “OWN THE NIGHT Prom Contest” the group had held. The trio is inviting the school’s juniors and seniors to the KFC Yum! Center on May 16th for a private prom event that will be followed by an open-to-the-public concert. All proceeds from the public sales of tickets for the concert portion will benefit the New Hope/Indiana Bankers Association for the Disaster Relief Fund.
“Helping rebuild this community is our biggest priority right now,” said Lady A’s Hillary Scott. “We were so moved by the stories from Henryville High School, but also from the students at their rival schools who raised their hands and said they wanted to help. There has been so much national media attention and so many sponsors and volunteers are stepping forward to help. It’s going to be an amazing day!”
Lipton has joined Lady A’s efforts for the community. Their “Drink Positive” and “Live Positive” message is a campaign that the trio has already supported. Fans who are unable to attend the concert but are still wanting to make a donation to the cause can visit Lady A’s Rebuilding Henryville donation page.
