Kelly Clarkson Releasing Country Music Single

Look out, country music! American Idol’s original winner is trying her hand at her first solo country single release. After trying her hand at the widly successful “Because of You” with her idol, Reba McEntire, and last year with Jason Aldean and “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” it looks like the Texan songstress is finally putting both feet in the door.

Kelly Clarkson will release her countrified version of “Mr. Know It All” to iTunes on April 3rd. The first single off of her new album “Stronger” is a sassy, revenge single that Kelly is so known for. She re-recorded the song with Dan Huff, with new vocals and a new sound to help it turn country. Check out the new version of the pop hit below and let us know if you hear it on your local stations:

What do you think about Kelly Clarkson trying country? Do you welcome her into the country charts, or do you want her to stay pop? We’re hoping she makes a country album one of these days!
