Jason Aldean is still having one heck of a never-ending party. The Academy of Country Music Awards Entertainer of the Year nominee has sold out all 18 dates of his “My Kinda Party” tour so far.. and he’s not done yet! He broke attendance records at New Jersey’s IZOD Center, and Charlotte, VA’s John Paul Jones Arena this weekend alone. These sell-outs mark his 13th venue sell-outs in 2012 already. His tour has sold out all 18 dates of his tour so far this year, including stops at Rodeo Houston at Reliant Stadium where he set the all-time record with 74,901 excited fans. He broke a Shania Twain record at the IZOD Center, selling the most tickets for a country concert ever at the venue with 19,000. Shania’s record was 15, 749 fans in 2003.
Jason upgraded his stage to a 360 degree view for this leg of the tour to give all of his fans the best views in the house. Fellow Georgia natives Luke Bryan and Lauren Alaina have joined Jason on as special guests on his tour. DeeJay Silver has returned once again to make sure the fans keep the party going in-between sets.
“These last few months on the road have been unbelievable, and the crowds this weekend were killer,” said Aldean. “We are off to Vegas next for the ACMs and will hopefully have a little luck on and off the blackjack tables!”
Jason’s current single “Fly Over States” is climbing the charts. It’s sitting in the top 15 on the country singles charts and is coming off the heels of four consecutive number one hits.
