Eric Church has sold out another date on his “Blood, Sweet & Beers Tour”, giving the rocker 21 sold-out shows this tour alone. His May 19th concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO sold out this week. Eric is a little surprised by his success, but he’s pretty thankful to his fans for it all:
“It’s so surreal. I don’t know what the hell happened in a year and a half post-CHIEF [current RIAA Gold-certified album], but it’s great. My fans have a passion for this music, I have a passion for it and we’ve both believed in it, and this is what has happened,” Church told the Cleveland Plain-Dealer in a recent interview.
Eric will perform his latest single “Springsteen” on NBC’s Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on March 19th. The single is currently number twenty on the Country Billboard chart after just six weeks – making it his fastest-rising single of his career to-date.
The “Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour” kicked off January 19th inFort Smith,AR and is Eric’s first-ever headlining tour. He’s come a long way in a year since performing for only 2,000 fans at a rock bar to the roughly 7,500 a night on his own tour.
