Eric Church made his big return to Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Monday night for a performance of his brand new single “Springsteen.” It was the first time Eric has performed on the late night program since its hiatus – which had The Boss himself as its last performance before the break. Watch the full episode from Monday here and fast forward to after the 37 minute mark to catch Eric’s performance.
The single is a co-write with Eric and his friends Jeff Hyde and Ryan Tyndell about how Eric grew up listening to Bruce Springsteen’s songs in the Summer. It’s a throwback to those days, and a tribute to one of the biggest music icons. The single is flying up the Billboard Country Singles Charts, already taking over the number sixteen spot. It’s his fastest-rising single to date so far in his career.
Eric has been a pretty busy guy this year. He’s sold out arenas across the country while out on his 50+ city “Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour.” It’s been a whirlwind since the release of his third album “CHIEF,” which has earned the superstar 2 Academy of Country Music nominations for Album of the Year and Video of the Year, and his first GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album. Eric also recently celebrated his latest number one single “Drink In My Hand.”
