Country Cares: How You Can Help Tornado Victims

Dozens dead. Towns destroyed. Lives changed forever.

That’s just part of the aftermath of the storms that ripped through the Midwest and the South on Friday and into Saturday. Now the rebuilding begins.

As reported by Jessica Blankenship at, some of the hardest hit areas include the Kentucky hometowns of country stars.  The hometown areas of Angaleena Presley of the Pistol Annies (Beauty, KY), Loretta Lynn (Butcher Holler, KY) and Keith Whitley (Sandy Hook, KY) all suffered tornado damage.

Those may be some famous faces you can associate with the storms, but it’s the everyday people who need everyone’s help and support.

The storms stretched across Indiana to Georgia, affecting about 17 million people in the process.  But Kentucky was hit particularly hard.  Out of 39 reported deaths, 21 of them are from Kentucky.
