Keepin’ up with all things Carrie Underwood was a full-time job this past week.
The superstar singer manged to be here, there and everywhere while being in very few places herself. Everything focused around the release of her highly-anticipated single, “Good Girl,” which was followed by a flurry of activity – either directly involving Carrie or caused by her.
Along with releasing the single, the American Idol winner finally got involved with an online activity, saw the song soar up the charts and even found time for fashion.
Here now a review of her wild (and wildly successful) week:
2/23 “Good Girl” is released to radio and Carrie debuts the song with a live performance at Country Radio Seminar in Nashville. Thanks to one of our eagle-eyed readers who found the below video of her performance at the event. It’s pretty special as it’s the very first time she sang the song for the public:
As a bonus, here she is performing “Good Girl” the next day at an Oscars event in Beverly Hills:
2/24 Carrie finally joins Twitter. Fans clearly are eager to connect with her. She already has more than 100,000 followers. Here are the first tweets from her @CarrieUnderwood:

2/26 “Before He Cheats” is #1 in GAC’s Top 50 Videos of the 2000s. Along with the top spot, three more Carrie videos make the list: #8 “Jesus Take The Wheel,” #24 “Last Name” and #46 “Cowboy Casanova.”
2/27 “Good Girl” breaks into the Medaibase Top 40, debuting at #37 (it’s unofficially #23 this morning)
2/28 Carrie performs at the Nashville Symphony fashion show. At the event she (or someone on her team) posted her first Twitter pic: a shot of her with Storme Warren:
2/29 Carrie celebrates “Leap Day” by learning “Good Girl” leaped to the top of Billboard’s Digital Country Songs chart. According to SoundScan, the single had sales of 108,000 — in only three days!
Next up for and from Carrie? There’s no official word yet, but we can start looking for news about an official video to go with “Good Girl.” Then there will be the release of her still untitled album on May 1. Stay tuned!
