Carrie Underwood Surprises Brad Paisley In Knoxville

Friday night in Knoxville, Tennessee, “Remind Me” turned into “surprise me.”

The surprise came courtesy of Carrie Underwood, who joined Brad Paisley on stage at Thompson-Boling Arena to sing their hit song “Remind Me.”  Anyone who follows Carrie at her new Twitter account may have known something was up.  Earlier in the night she sent out this tweet:

@CarrieUnderwood:  In a sneaky mood tonight…Stay tuned…

A few hours later, after the cat was out of the bag and the superstar had joined her CMA co-host on stage, she sent out this tweet, including the below pic:

@CarrieUnderwood:  had so much fun tonight surprising @BradPaisley –  Thanks Knoxville!

Brad then chipped in on Twitter, sending out his appreciation for the surprise support:

@BradPaisley:  Coolest thing that’s happened this tour!

Brad is out on the road with his “Virtual Reality Tour,” with supporting acts The Band Perry and Scotty McCreery.

Carrie is riding high off of the great reception for her “Good Girl.” (Read our review here.)  The first single off her yet to be named album (due out May 1) is a smash hit in terms of airplay and sales.  After only three days, the single topped Billboard’s Digital Country Songs chart with sales of 108,000.  Then “Good Girl” made its debut in the Billboard Country Songs chart, appearing at #30.

What’s next for Carrie?  Stay tuned!
