Blake Shelton Launches Entertainer of the Year Campaign
What do you consider to be a real ‘entertainer’? That’s what Blake Shelton and his team at Warner Music Nashville are asking fans with Academy of Country Music (ACM) voting opening up today for Entertainer of the Year at voteacm.com. It’s the first time the Oklahoman singer is up for the fan and industry voted award at the ACMs – which he will be co-hosting alongside country music Queen, Reba McEntire.
Blake’s asking fans how he entertains them with a new website launched today: blakeshelton.com/vote/. It’s no secret that he has had one of the busiest years of his career this year – coaching on NBC’s The Voice for the second season, headlining his first tour in over 50 cities, co-hosting the ACM awards, a GRAMMY performance and three GRAMMY nominations, and racking up number one single after number one single on the charts.
Blake has become a household name since his start on NBC’s The Voice, and he’s brought mainstream attention to country music. He’s one of the biggest stars in country music, but is he your pick for Entertainer of the Year?
The 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards air live on CBS on April 1st from the MGM Grand Garden Arena at 8 pm EST. Find out who the fan-chosen winner is live in the broadcast, with additional ways to vote during the broadcast.
