The upcoming ACM Weekend in Las Vegas keeps getting bigger and bigger. The latest announcement is a special concert to show appreciation for the military.
On Saturday March 31, a star-studded show will salute the soldiers with song and more. The “Salute to the Military Presented by NRA Country” concert will feature (in alphabetical order) Lee Brice, Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers, JT Hodges, Kip Moore, Craig Morgan and Thompson Square. The event will be hosted by Robin Meade, anchor of HLN’s “Morning Express with Robin Meade.”
The concert, which is part of the weekend-long ACM Experience, is free and open-to-the-public. But members of the military will be getting special treatment. Military ID holders will be invited to a special reserved section for the concert, which will include special onstage moments such as the presentation of charitable donations to three worthy military-inspired charitable organizations: Folds of Honor Foundation, Nellis Air Force Base Youth Programs and Wounded Warrior Project.
The show is slated to begin at 7:30pm PT. It will be held on the Country Thunder Stage at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. The exact location is the South Convention Center Parking Lot, which is on the corner of Russell Road and Las Vegas Boulevard.
