Miranda Lambert is finally returning to setting the world “On Fire” tonight after a 2-week delay. She took some time off to mourn the loss of her friend and to perform a special duet version of “America the Beautiful” before the Super Bowl with her husband, Blake Shelton. Miranda was pretty busy in her two week tour break: she presented a GRAMMY award on Sunday night, performed at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Gala, and made her acting debut on her favorite show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Miranda’s “On Fire” tour is one of the hottest tours of the year. She will be taking the stage in front of almost capacity crowds tonight in Amherst, MA; tomorrow in Hershey, PA and a sold-out concert in Youngstown, OH – which had sold-out the first day tickets went on sale! Miranda’s tour has featured multiple sell-outs since it launched January 12th.
Her new single “Over You” is her most personal yet. The song was a co-write with Blake about the loss of Blake’s older brother, Richie Shelton. It’s already turned into one of the fastest-rising singles of her career. It’s currently in the top 20 and climbing steadily. The song is the latest release from her brand new record “Four The Record” which was certified gold just before Christmas. Miranda became the first artist in Billboard history to have all four albums debut at number one on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart.
