Dierks Bentley Finds A Home In Canada

Congratulations today to Dierks Bentley, who has found himself a place at the top of the charts – in Canada! Dierks’ new single “Home” stole the number one spot this week on the Canadian Country Mediabase charts just as his Canadian leg of the “Country & Cold Cans Tour” finished up. Not a bad going away present at all!

“Dierks may have had America in mind with ‘Home,’ but the fact it went to No. one in Canada shows that the song has universal appeal,” said EMI Music Canada’s Ron Harwood.  “We are all proud of where we are from.  We’ve all faced tough times recently.  We all know that things can be better again.  It is a song that reflects on our own past and gives hope for a bright future, regardless of where you call ‘home.’”

The new ranking on the Canadian charts proves that you don’t have to be American to enjoy a patriotic song. It’s still climbing the top five on the American charts this week. Dierks heads off to Australia early next month before making it back home to the United States for a 20-date trek. For a full list of his tour dates, check out dierks.com.
