New York City’s Joe’s Pub will be home to the CMA Songwriters Series in March. This will the eighth year for the series that continues to play for sell-out crowds. It’s hard to imagine that this year will be any exception.
Songwriters participating in the event will include Lee Thomas Miller (“I’m Still a Guy” recorded by Brad Paisley, “You’re Gonna Miss This” recorded by Trace Adkins, and “The Impossible” recorded by Joe Nichols), Jim Photoglo (“Fishin’ in the Dark” recoded by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, “Hometown Honeymoon” recorded by Alabama, and “You Give Me Love” recorded by Faith Hill) and Victoria Shaw (“I Love the Way You Love Me” recorded by John Michael Montgomery, and “The River” and “She’s Every Woman,” both recorded by Garth Brooks.
“CMA is excited to bring our Songwriters Series back to the place where it all began,” said Steve Moore, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “Joe’s Pub is a great place to showcase Nashville’s extraordinary songwriters and the people of New York have proven time and time again how much they appreciate great Country Music.”
Bob DiPiero, who has penned songs for artists such as Tim McGraw, George Strait and Brooks & Dunn, will host the event, which will take place on Thursday, March 22, 2012 (6:30 and 9PM EST).
Tickets are on sale now for $30 and $25. Check out www.joespub.com to order tickets, or do so by calling (212) 967-7555 between the hours of 10AM and 9PM EST.
