Carrie Underwood’s “Good Girl” Debuts At #1 On Billboard’s Digital Country Songs Chart
Carrie Underwood’s “Good Girl” is doing great things in the charts! Less than one week old, the new single is a sales smash and is rampaging across radio.
Today the tune topped Billboard’s Digital Country Songs chart with sales of 108,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan. After releasing the song early Friday morning it took fans only three short days to make “Good Girl” the top-selling song. (See our review of “Good Girl” here.)
The rockin’ single is also rocketing up the radio charts. Co-written by Carrie along with Chris DeStefano and Ashley Gorley, “Good Girl” debuted at #37 this past Sunday in the Mediabase chart. (It’s unofficially at #24 on today’s chart.) We’ll find out about its Billboard chart placing tomorrow.
“Good Girl” is the lead single from Carrie’s upcoming album. The still unnamed album, Carrie’s fourth, will be released May 1.
