Country music legend Ronnie Dunn has released his version of country-rock today. “Let The Cowboy Rock,” the latest single from his self-titled solo album, was sent out to country music radio today. He also launched the music video for the single on his official website this morning, and that will be available on iTunes tomorrow, January 17th. The music video for the up-tempo guitar-driven single is already out for rotation on CMT, GAC, and other country music video outlets today.
The single is a co-write by Ronnie and hit songwriter Dallas Davidson. The music video was partially filmed in Pendleton, Oregan during the Pendleton Round-up with rider Blake Knowles. Other shots of Ronnie were filmed at the popular The Stage on Broadway in downtown Nashville, as well as Salt Flat, Utah.
Ronnie will also debut a live performance this week on Yahoo! Music. On January 18th, Yahoo’s Ram Country taping will feature exclusive performances of Ronnie with “Let The Cowboy Rock,” “Cost Of Livin’,” and “How Far To Waco.”
