Chris Young Scores 5th Consecutive Number One

The hits continue for Chris Young!

The Grammy-nominated singer’s current single, “You,” tops Billboard’s “Hot Country Songs” chart this week marking his fifth consecutive number one. “You” follows in the footsteps of his four previous hit singles including “Tomorrow,” “Getting’ You Home,” “Voices,” and “The Man I Want To Be.” Young joins Blake Shelton as the only two solo artists to top the chart with their five most recent singles.

Young was very excited to hear the news:

“I am ecstatic. I’ve been excited for each #1 and to have five in a row feels amazing!”

The song was co-written by Young and Luke Laird, and has sold over 400,000 downloads.

This news comes shortly after Young received word of his two nominations for the 47th Academy of Country Music Awards. He is up for Male Vocalist of the Year and Single Record of the Year for his smash hit, “Tomorrow.”

Young is currently the special guest on Miranda Lambert‘s On Fire Tour. For more information and tour dates, visit
