Blake Shelton Reacts To ACM Nominations

The Academy of Country Music announced their nominees for the 47th annual ACM awards this morning, and no one was as thankful as Blake Shelton to see the final list. Blake is up for both Male Vocalist Of The Year and the prestigious Entertainer Of The Year at the April 1st award show. Blake is up against Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley for the top honor.

Blake says:

“The support I have felt this week is overwhelming. Thank you everyone for this honor.”

Blake will co-host the ACM awards with country music legend Reba McEntire. The award show will air live on CBS from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on April Fool’s Day. Blake has a busy schedule ahead of him: he’ll be performing a duet version of “America The Beautiful” before the Super Bowl with his wife, Miranda Lambert, and then the brand new season of The Voice will air immediately following the Super Bowl on NBC. He’s also out on his first headlining tour “Well Lit & Amplified”, which resumes tonight.
