Blake Shelton Goes Platinum And Gold!
Congratulations to Warner Music Nashville’s superstar Oklahoman, Blake Shelton! He was surprised with a platinum plaque for “God Gave Me You” at his January 27th stop of his “Well Lit & Amplified” tour. He was awarded the platinum certification for selling over one million copies digitally of his single from “Red River Blue.” That wasn’t all on the night for Blake, who also received two gold plaques for “LOADED: The Best of Blake Shelton” and for “Red River Blue.” John Esposito, CEO of Warner Music Nashville, and his staff surprised Blake before he took the stage in Duluth, Georgia.
The last year has been the most successful for Blake, who is nominated for multiple GRAMMY awards next month. The three-time GRAMMY award nominee is also up for the Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year for the first time.
