Whitney Duncan Eliminated From Survivor

Looks like the ride is over for Whitney Duncan‘s journey on CBS’ “Survivor” reality series. She was eliminated off the program without getting the $1 million prize. She didn’t have much of a chance, though, after her former tribe-mate back-stabbed their tribe and switched teams. Her elimination came after her team-mates were picked off one-by-one by the opposing tribe from the merge.

In an exclusive interview with Reality TV World, Whitney admits her secret marriage was doomed to fail when she went into the reality series. She admits being unhappy at home, which made falling in love on the program easier. She says that she doesn’t need to defend herself after all the tabloid reports, and that she wasn’t in a good place in her marriage.

“Well, I’m not, like I said, I’m not here to talk about my private life. That’s very private and I’ve always been so private about my private life, so you know, I’m not going to start talking about it now just because of something that’s come out. I don’t feel the need to defend myself. I was in an unhealthy and unhappy relationship and I never would have thought I would have fallen in love on Survivor. “

Fans can catch Whitney when she performs at the 22nd annual Carols By Candlelight in San Diego, California December 9th and 10th. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Rady Children’s Hospital. Joining Whitney at the event are fellow country singers Clay Walker, Buck Howdy, Mary James, and Eve Selis.
