Rascal Flatts To Perform On Norwegian Spirit

Norwegian Cruise Line and Rascal Flatts announced that the country super-group will be performing their first-ever concert at sea on-board the Norwegian Spirit sailing on February 26th, 2012. The ship leaves New Orleans for a Western Caribbean itinerary. The concert will take place when the ship docks at Cozumel, Mexico on March 2nd, 2012. Ports of call visited on the sailing include Cozumel, Mexico; Roatan, Honduras; Belize City, Belize; and Costa Maya, Mexico.

“It’s not even Christmas yet, but we are already looking forward to next spring when we make our first-ever appearance on a cruise ship,” said Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts. “We will perform and meet fans aboard Norwegian Spirit as it’s docked in Cozumel, Mexico on March 2. We hope you will join us!”

To help promote this special, unique concert experience, top radio stations in 20 markets across the United States and Canada will be running on-air contests over the next several weeks to send some lucky fans on a trip of a lifetime! Fans could win the chance to be on the 7-night sailing, including airfare to New Orleans, VIP tickets to the concert, and a meet-and-greet with the band.

NCL is offering fans the chance to see the concert with two different ticket packages available for purchase on-board. The VIP package will be available for $150 per person and gives guests the opportunity to get up close and personal to the biggest band in country music at a private cocktail reception, where they will meet Joe Don Rooney, Gary LeVox, and Jay DeMarcus. They’ll also get their picture taken with the trio, and take home a special souvenir. Standard tickets are available for $50 per person and a guarantee in the ship’s Stardust Theater for the concert.
