Lady Antebellum Spend Second Week At Number One
Congratulations to superstar trio Lady Antebellum, who are spending the second week at the number one spot with their single “We Owned The Night.” The reining CMA and ACM Vocal Group Of The Year have the number one country music single on the Billboard singles chart, and have taken the top spot on the Mediabase singles chart at the same time. “We Owned The Night” is already the group’s sixth number one single of their career, the second consecutive number one from their new album, the now Grammy-nominated “Own The Night.”
“We’re still on a high from getting this album released and in our fans’ hands,” said Dave Haywood. “We’ve been out on the road every night witnessing first-hand how it’s been embraced, but having all the support from country radio and now getting a GRAMMY nomination for the album takes it to another level!”
The group will head to New York City next week for a few television appearances. Catch the group when they perform on Good Morning America December 14th at 7 am CST, and on LIVE! With Kelly on December 15th. Check local listings for their second tv appearance. They’re currently out on their “Own The Night” tour, which continues into 2012.
