Lady Antebellum Dancing Away With New Single

Reining CMA and ACM Vocal Group of The Year Lady Antebellum have released their third single off of their new album “Own The Night.” Their new single “Dancing Away With My Heart” has been sent to radio today.

It’s a reunion for the group with songwriter Josh Kear who wrote their super-smash “Need You Now.”

“This song is definitely about looking back on a really special night that you shared with someone, but I also think there’s a timelessness about it,” explains Hillary Scott.  “No matter how long it’s been or what the other person is doing now, you will always imagine them to be ’18 and beautiful and dancin’ away with my heart’…that mental picture never changes because that night was magical.  I love how romantic that is!”
Lady Antebellum will head to Good Morning America to perform their latest number one single, and tour name inspiration, “We Owned The Night” on Wednesday morning. They’ll perform their new single on LIVE! With Kelly on Thursday morning on ABC.
They’ll round out the week with the last weekend of the fall leg of their “Own The Night” tour. Special guests Thompson Square and Darius Rucker will join the trio for the second leg in early 2012.
