Julie Roberts’ Blue Christmas Featured On CW Monday

Country music singer Julie Roberts loves the holidays. She released a Christmas EP titled “Who Needs Mistletoe” last month, and now she’s announced that one of her favorite tracks from the album will be featured on Monday’s episode of “Heart Of Dixie” on CW.

“I am so excited about my recording of (the song) being featured on ‘Hart of Dixie,'” Roberts said. “When I first told my fans about it, they were so excited because they love the show and I do too!”

The song will appear in the show’s Christmas episode, titled “Hairdos and Holidays,” airing at 9 pm EST on Monday. The characters of the small town are busy preparing for the Christmas season, and their annual Miss Cinnamon Cider pageant.

“‘Hart of Dixie’ features so much music and I think that’s awesome,” Roberts said. “Music in movies and television to me is so important for the mood and excitement of a scene. I am just so excited they chose one of my favorite songs from my new Christmas EP.”

Julie’s version of “Blue Christmas” is the opening track on her Christmas EP, now available at all digital music retailers. She’s offering a special package on her official website for her fans, which includes a personalized, autographed copy of the CD, Christmas cards, an 8×10 photo and even a phone call from Julie herself on Christmas day.
