Chris Young Wins Big At The ACAs In Vegas
When you’re hot, you’re hot. The cool temperatures didn’t matter to Chris Young last night, who was a big winner at the American Country Awards in Vegas. He performed his smash hit single “Voices” on the award show, right after he was announced as a double winner. Chris took home both the Breakthrough Artist Of The Year award and the Single Of The Year for “Voices” at the at the fan-voted award show.
“I had a blast tonight! I am so thankful for my amazing fans for their support and votes and am thrilled to accept this award,” says Chris.
The ACA-winning “Voices” is a co-write by Chris, Craig Wiseman and Chris Tompkins. It became his third consecutive number one single, breaking a 25-year old Billboard record. He became only the second artist in the modern-day Billboard chart to re-release a single and take it to number one.
Chris’ current single “You” from his latest album “NEON” might be his next number one hit. It’s currently in the top 15 and still rising.
