Country music singer Chely Wright received a special award from the Interfaith Alliance earlier this week. She was honored at the Interfaith Alliance’s annual “Walter Cronkite Faith & Freedom Award dinner” on Sunday, November 13th. The event was held in New York City. Chely was presented with the “President’s Award” and performed “It Was” at the ceremony. Watch the video below of her being surprised with the award:
