Loretta Lynn Reschedules Performances Canceled by Illness
Country music legend Loretta Lynn officially rescheduled the dates she missed due to be hospitalized by pneumonia. Her Ashland, Kentucky and Durham, North Carolina shows will honor all tickets at the new date in the new year. The Ashland show originally scheduled for October 22nd will now be on January 7th, 2012 at the Paramont Arts Center. The Durham show originally scheduled for October 23rd will now take place on January 8th, 2012 at the Durham Performing Arts Center.
Loretta Lynn was released from hospital last week and no further dates are expected to be canceled. She’s nominated for a Country Music Association (CMA) award for Musical Event Of The Year for “Coal Miner’s Daughter” with Miranda Lambert and Sheryl Crow. The 45th annual Country Music Association awards will air live on ABC from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville at 8 pm EST.
